dopplerVUE

Comprehensive Information
In a single window, dopplerVUE does what most other products require multiple tools to achieve. This integrated approach goes beyond devices to provide a big picture view of your entire network.
dopplerVUE
  • monitors devices and hosts, such as routers, switches, firewalls and IDSs
  • monitors services, including DNS, HTTP(s) and email
  • monitors applications like Microsoft Exchange and distributed databases
  • supports SNMP versions 1, 2 and 3
  • supports IPv4, IPv6 and dual stack networks

dopplerVUE leverages multiple inbound and outbound data collection techniques including:

  • SNMP traps and notifications
  • syslog messages
  • SNMP, ICMP and WMI
  • NetFlow IP traffic information
  • Windows event log messages
  • IP SLA test results
  • add new MIBs, SNMP traps and metrics with onboard SNMP MIB compiler
  • point-and-click selection of OIDs on SNMP agents
  • polling intervals as low as five seconds
  • displays data immediately upon publication

dopplerVUE collects any WMI counter on local or remote Microsoft Windows machines so you can monitor and manage just about any operational element, such as:

  • memory, including physical utilization, page faults/sec, pages/sec, read/write/sec, etc.
  • processors, including utilization, interrupts/sec, etc.
  • physical disks, including read/write times, idle time, read/write queue length, etc.
  • systems, including processes, processor queue length, threads, etc.
  • battery capacity and voltage
  • network utilization

dopplerVUE incorporates Windows event log messages using the built-in Windows Event Log Monitor and filters. Messages are displayed in the familiar log layout so you never have to leave dopplerVUE to access:

  • Windows application logs
  • Windows security logs
  • Windows system logs

dopplerVUE also gathers and displays NetFlow data on real-time IP traffic flow across your network. NetFlow charts and reports help you to maximize network performance by:

  • identifying top bandwidth consumers
  • pinpointing network traffic congestion and utilization issues
  • displaying aggregate usage data with specific device performance metrics
